The Strokes have announced a new album, The New Abnormal, and shared its first single, "At the Door," via a video for the track. They announced the album when they performed at a Bernie Sanders get out the vote concert rally in Durham, New Hampshire last night, on the eve of today's New Hampshire primary (you can also watch the full video of the rally and performance).  More

The Iowa Caucuses are finally today. After months and months of campaigning and multiple debates, tonight we'll get the first real sense of who might get the Democratic nomination and face up against President Donald Trump. Bernie Sanders is doing well in the polls, but there's no guarantee he'll win. However, he still has strong support from big indie rock musicians and in the past few days both Bon Iver and Vampire Weekend have performed at Iowa rallies for the Vermont senator. More

Today is the New York Presidential Primary. On the Democratic side, Hilary Clinton is favored to win, but if Bernie Sanders can pull off an upset victory it would provide major momentum for his campaign. The Sanders campaign have thus been pulling out all the stops to motivate young voters, who tend to favor him, and in the last few days he's held New York City rallies featuring performances by Vampire Weekend (also featuring Dirty Projectors' Dave Longstreth) and Grizzly Bear. Last night TV on the Radio performed at a Sanders rally in Long Island City, Queens at Hunter's Point South Park.

A rally in Iowa City this Saturday in support of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is set to feature members of Vampire Weekend (also featuring Dirty Projectors' Dave Longstreth), rapper and Run the Jewels member Killer Mike, and Foster the People. The Iowa Caucuses are next Monday, February 1, the first chance the people get to vote on who the Presidential candidates will be, hence the timing and location of the rally.  More
