This week's Songs of the Week was almost just a Top 8. However two fun, but seriously inessential, songs from the Lego Movie 2 soundtrack skated in at the bottom of the list. Veteran Scottish rockers Idlewild surprised us with an interesting new song, even though we admittedly haven't paid much attention to their last few albums.  More

Few artists are a musical chameleon in the way Stephen Wilkinson, aka Bibio, is. Throughout his career, the British musician has shifted his aural colorations to blend effortlessly into many different genres. More

Bibio may not be the biggest name on the Warp roster, but he certainly is one of the choice cuts in any assessment of the legendary label's line-up. A Mineral Love, the artist's third full-length installment, sees Bibio focus more on his own talent as a singer. More

Stephen Wilkinson appears to be mirroring Western trends by going organic. On his seventh LP under the Bibio guise, the English producer's experimental leanings take on a distinctly naturalistic focus, veering away from the kaleidoscopic blur of 2011's Mind Bokeh to create a slow-burning sonic collection. He then put out his Warp Records debut, Ambivalence Avenue, in June, and branched out into more beat-oriented and vocal material to great effect. More
