Vivian Girls broke-up in 2014, but now they have reunited and are releasing their first new album in eight years, Memory, on September 20 via Polyvinyl. Now they have shared another song from it, the refreshing shoegaze blast “Something to Do,” via a video for the track that features the band members frantically running around Los Angeles looking for each other. Former Vivian Girls singer/guitarist Cassie Ramone has announced a Christmas album. Christmas in Reno is due out December 11 via Burger Records. Below you can hear her cover of “Run Run Rudolph,” a song originally released as a single by Chuck Berry in 1958. Ramone’s take is of course much more lo-fi, in keeping with Vivian Girls’ sound. More
