Darwyn Cooke’s death on May 14 shocked and saddened comic book fans the world over. Since 2000, the prolific artist-and infrequent writer-lent his unique and unmistakable aesthetic primarily to the DC/Vertigo Universe. It is therefore fitting that one of his final works was The Twilight Children, a wholly original, absolutely mysterious collaboration with legendary writer Gilbert Hernandez. More
