“Goldilocks Zone,” the opening track on Grass Widow’s third LP, Internal Logic, begins with evocative Moog oscillations that conjure images of 1960s sci-fi films or memories of waiting in line for Space Mountain at Disneyland. Space, science, and sci-fi constitute a prevailing theme on Internal Logic, which includes other titles such as “Under the Atmosphere” and “Spock on Muni,” and whose cover image depicts the moon.
