With their sophomore album Celebration Rock poised for release on June 5, Canadian rock duo Japandroids are leading up to the big day by issuing a special single that includes both the band's new track "The House That Heaven Built," as well as a B-side take of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds' 1992 song "Jack the Ripper," the latter of which has just now become available to stream online. No Singles collects and reissues Brian King (guitar) and David Prowse’s (drums) two early, out-of-print EPs: All Lies (2007) and Lullaby Death Jams (2008). John Golden (Melvins, Nirvana) did an excellent job with the remastering, maintaining the raw energy of a band who is clearly in the midst of figuring out their formula. More
