Khruangbin and Leon Bridges have announced a new collaborative EP, Texas Moon, which will be out on February 18, 2022 via Dead Oceans in Partnership with Columbia / Night Time Stories Ltd. They have also shared a video for a track off the new EP, “B-Side.” The Philip Andelman-directed video was shot in J. Lorraine Ghost Town in Austin, Texas. More

Texas psych-rock trio Khruangbin have shared two new videos for their song “Dearest Alfred,” taken from their most recent album Mordechai—one for the album version, and one for a new Knxwledge remix of the song, retitled “Dearest Alfred (MyJoy).” Both videos were created by The Kennedys, an internship program at creative agency Wieden+Kennedy London. There is a one-of-a-kind, universally intriguing musical product that is generated when Khruangbin’s guitarist Mark Speer, bassist Laura Lee Ochoa, and drummer Donald “DJ” Johnson come together. A student of the world, Ochoa is a cultural anthropology enthusiast. It was her learning Thai that led to the band’s name, which loosely means “airplane.” More
