All Tomorrow's Parties is coming to the New York City area again, this time to Asbury Park, New Jersey, September 30 - October 2. Portishead is curating the Saturday and Sunday of the festival and will be performing both those nights. But the other big news is that Neutral Milk Hotel's Jeff Mangum is performing twice as well. Last night at the downtown Manhattan venue, Le Poisson Rouge, former Neutral Milk Hotel frontman Jeff Mangum made a very rare appearance at a tribute benefit gig for the suffering stroke victim/New Zealand punk icon Chris Knox. He played five NMH tracks, starting with the epic "Oh Comely." Fans are still clutching to the sliver of hope that the seminal rock group and its reclusive leader Jeff Mangum will return.
