Pardoner, like many a slacker rock band before them, was born in a dorm room. The core trio of Max Freeland, Trey Flanigan, and River van den Berghe met in 2015 at San Francisco State University and quickly began honing their sound, bringing together slacker attitude with the pummeling feel of hardcore.
