Last weekend (May 29th - 31st), Sasquatch! ruled The Gorge with performances from Band of Horses, Dr. Dog, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, My Morning Jacket, The xx, Public Enemy, Mumford and Sons, Dirty Projectors, Tallest Man on Earth, and many more. Prepare to add Hopscotch to the music festival list. Announced by The Independent Weekly, Hopscotch will have 120 bands in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina for three days, September 9 to 11. The lineup will include Panda Bear, Broken Social Scene, Public Enemy, The Love Language, No Age, Akron/Family, and Atlas Sound, to name but a few. More

On day three of Coachella My Bloody Valentine threatened to burst a thousand eardrums. As we entered the festival site around 12:30 PM they were handing out complimentary earplugs in anticipation for the aural attack. Other highlights included a blood-splattered Fucked Up, an energetic Friendly Fires, and the incredibly strange Throbbing Gristle. More
