Stereolab’s co-founder Tim Gane has teamed up with synth player Holger Zapf and former Stereolab drummer Joe Dillworth to form a new trio named Cavern of Anti-Matter. They will be releasing their debut album, void beats / invocation trex, on February 19 via Duophonic. It features such special guests as Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox, Mouse on Mars’ Jan St. Werner, and Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom. More

Pete Kember needs no introduction. Having founded Spacemen 3 with Jason Pierce in 1982, the band went onto achieve widespread critical acclaim before tensions between the two eventually led to their demise by the turn of the decade.
