Under the Radar hosted an official nighttime showcase at SXSW this year on the final night of the Austin music conference (Saturday). The event happened at Central Presbyterian Church, a beautiful building with amazing acoustics, and featured sets from TORRES, San Fermin, Amason, Boxed In, Springtime Carnivore, Talk In Tongues, and Dinner. This year we are having a day party at the Flamingo Cantina on Thursday, March 19, and an official nighttime showcase at Central Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 21. Releasing their debut single Still Don’t Seem To Care” late last year, modern psychedelia four-piece Talk In Tongues are poised to release their full-length debut, Alone With a Friend, on May 19 via Fairfax. Providing a little more of what to expect from the effort, the L.A. band has premiered a brand new track titled “While Everyone Was Waiting.” More

It has been less than a year from inception to debut album release for Los Angeles group Talk In Tongues. The foursome-vocalist McCoy Kirgo, guitarist Garrett Zeile, bassist Waylon Rector, and drummer Bryan DeLeon, all of whom are involved in the songwriting-recorded their first song, the well-received swirling dreamfest “Still Don’t Seem to Care” the day after they played their first gig, and released it the week after. More
