Coachella 2008
Line-Up Announced

Coachella’s 2008 line-up was announced today.

The main headliners are Jack Johnson (a very weak choice in our opinion), Portishead, and Roger Waters performing Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon.

Beyond the headliners, plenty of other strong artists round out the line-up, including many Under the Radar supported artists. Here are some of the highlights, per day.

Friday, April 25th: The Verve, The Raconteurs, The Breeders, Tegan and Sara, Madness, The National, Animal Collective, Mum, Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings, Stars, Battles, Jens Lekman, Vampire Weekend, Architecture in Helsinki, Rogue Wave, Dan Deacon, The Bees, Black Lips, and many others.

Saturday, April 26th: Portishead, Kraftwerk, Death Cab for Cutie, M.I.A., Rilo Kiley, Hot Chip, Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks, Cold War Kids, DeVotchKa, Mark Ronson, MGMT, Akron/Family, St. Vincent, The Bird and the Bee, New Young Pony Club, 120 Days, The Teenagers, Cinematic Orchestra, Yo Majesty!, VHS or Beta, Bonde Do Role, and many others.

Sunday, April 27th: Roger Waters performs Dark Side of the Moon, Love and Rockets, My Morning Jacket, Spiritualized, Metric, Justice, The Streets, Gogol Bordello, Les Savy Fav, Simian Mobile Disco, Black Mountain, Sons & Daughters, Shout Out Louds, I’m From Barcelona, Black Kids, Sia, The Field, Holy Fuck, Autolux, Annuals, and many others.

In other words, it looks set to be another great Coachella!
