Los Angeles' Walking Sleep (formerly known as The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra) formed in 2007. The indie-pop sextet quickly released their first EP, Escapements, the following year. In 2009, Sara Radle (former vocalist of the power-pop outfit The Rentals) joined the band to harmonize with frontman Hunter Curra.

The group will release its debut LP, Measures, on May 25. The sleek pop release was recorded at Aaron Espinoza's (Earlimart, Admiral Radley) Ship Studio in Eagle Rock, Calif. Above you can listen to the album's bouncy debut single, "Final Chapter." It's perfect music for springtime. The band will have a month-long residency at L.A.'s The Echo in April.
