Lush
As the band hinted at last week, and as we predicted was likely, shoegazing legends Lush have confirmed their reunion today. The band have announced that on May 6, 2016 they are playing their first ever show in almost 20 years at London’s Roundhouse. They are also releasing a box set in December and reissuing their best of collection on vinyl. More

Jenny Lewis performed at the Trans-Pecos Festival of Music and Love in Marfa, Texas last Thursday and brought a special guest onstage, St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark). Clark played drums on Lewis’ “Just One of the Guys,” collaborated with Lewis on the unreleased song “Girl on Girl,” and performed her own song “Cheerleader.” The set ended with a cover of Deee-Lite’s “Groove is in the Heart.” More

Jamie xx of The xx released his debut full-length, In Colour, back in June via Young Turks. Now he’s shared a video for “I Know There’s Going to Be Good Times,” a song featuring Young Thug and Popcaan. Rollo Jackson directed the clip, which features Jamie xx fairly briefly, with Young Thug and Popcann performing the song in New York and Jamaica. More

On October 16 the six tracks will be released separately as cassette-only release titled The Relektor Tapes (the tracklist is below).
