Kevin Barnes and his of Montreal band have shared a new video for “Last Rites At the Jane Hotel.” Matthew Cooper directed the creepy but colorful stop-motion animated clip that includes a skeleton riding a bicycle and cats and spiders in skeleton masks. The song is taken from the band’s latest studio album, Aureate Gloom, which came out back in March. More

Foals previously announced their new album, What Went Down (out August 28 via Warner Music). They’ve already shared the title track via its video and the audio for “Mountain At My Gates,” as well as its Spherical virtual reality video. Now “What Went Down” gets the remix treatment courtesy of The Haxan Cloak (aka British producer and musician Bobby Krlic), who muddies up the song with distorted vocals and dirty beats. It keeps threatening to build into a dancefloor banger, but then goes in more experimental directions. More
