Odd Blood is the follow-up to 2007's All Hour Cymbals (which was released on We Are Free), and it will hopefully blow your mind wide open on February 9, 2010. More

Animal Collective's EP Fall Be Kind is dropping November 9th, six days before the start of the Canadian seal hunting season. In response, People for the Ethical Treatment of  Animals (PETA) has recruited the band to oppose the tradition of slaughter in the video ad below. Avey Tare, Panda Bear, and Geologist have some tough words for Canadian hunters in the 1:23 minute video. More

Last week we reported that The Flaming Lips have recorded a track-by-track cover album of Pink Floyd's seminal Dark Side of the Moon. Last Friday Wayne Coyne and co. stopped by the studio's of Santa Monica-based public radio station KCRW to record a session for Morning Becomes Eclectic. While there they covered Dark Side of the Moon's "Eclipse." We have the video. More
