Amanda Palmer to Cover Prince’s “Purple Rain” At New Year’s Eve Show

Capping off a year touring behind newly released solo effort Theatre is Evil, Amanda Palmer will ring in the New Year in a royal fashion. The ex-Dresden Doll is slated to perform that evening at New York’s Terminal 5, where she and her band Grand Theft Orchestra will perform Prince’s Purple Rain in its entirety.
