Andrew Bird Announces Tour Dates, Some Proceeds to Be Donated to End Gun Violence

Andrew Bird has announced a slew of 2016 tour dates in North America and Europe. In addition $1 for every ticket sold on the spring leg of the tour will be “directed to organizations working to end gun violence to build safer communities,” as a press release states. All proceeds from Bird’s December 11 show at The Hideout in Chicago will benefit Foundations of Music in Chicago, which funds private lessons for students at ChiArts. Tickets for the 2016 dates go on sale this Friday, December 4, at Andrew Bird’s website. The full list of dates are below.
