Animal Collective Test Out New Songs Onstage
Band Performed Raw Material Last Night
Before heading out to Indio, Calif. this weekend for the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Animal Collective have a string of shows lined up this week throughout the Golden State. Last night at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, the band performed a large amount of new, raw material. As Animal Collective is known to work out new material onstage rather than go through a catalog of their most-loved album tracks, this might not have been a shock to the audience—but it's always a genuinely welcome surprise.
Check out the clips of the fresh, currently untitled tracks from Animal Collective's live show below.
