Annuals Return With Sweet Sister EP
Out March 30th Via Banter
It's interesting to see how the young, hip "blog bands" of the past grow up. Raleigh, NC's indie-pop collective Annuals are no exception. Their 2008 sophomore long-player, Such Fun, marked the outfit’s first big-label release (on Canvasback Records), but it unfairly received many indifferent reviews in comparison to the excellent 2006 debut, Be He Me. Now Annuals are back with Sweet Sister EP. (That's the flowery cover artwork below.) The release comes out March 30th via Banter and heralds the return of lead songwriter Adam Baker to the producer's chair. The still young and hip sextet will also tour this spring. Keep watching their MySpace for more details.
