ANOHNI (aka Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons) has announced a new album and shared a video for its first single. HOPELESSNESS is due out May 6 via Secretly Canadian. Below is the video for “Drone Bomb Me.” The video was directed by Nabil, art directed by Riccardo Tisci, and stars model Naomi Campbell.

Anohni described the song’s concept in a press release: “‘Drone Bomb Me’ is a love song written from the perspective of a young girl in Afghanistan whose family has been executed by unmanned U.S. drones. She dreams of being annihilated.” The album was co-produced with Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never. Below is the video, tracklist, album cover art, single cover art, and tour dates.
