Berlin-based electronic music artist Apparat (aka Sascha Ring) has announced a new album, LP 5, and shared a video for its first single, "DAWAN." LP 5 is due out March 22 via Mute. Check out the "DAWAN" video below, followed by the album's tracklist and cover art, as well as his upcoming tour dates.

LP5 is the follow-up to 2013's Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre), although since then he's also released two studio albums, II and III, with Moderat, the trio he founded with Modeselektor's Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary.

Ring had this to say about the album in a press release: "I was only able to make the record this way because Moderat exists. Having a huge stage with Moderat gave me a setting for grand gestures and meant I could unburden Apparat from these aspirations. I don't have to write big pop hymns here; I can just immerse myself in the details and the structures."

LP5 Tracklist:

1. VOI_DO
2. DAWAN
3. LAMINAR FLOW
4. HEROIST
5. MEANS OF ENTRY
6. BRANDENBURG
7. CARONTE
8. EQ_BREAK
