Arcade Fire are releasing a new album, Everything Now, on July 28 via their new label Columbia. Now they have shared another new song from the album, “Electric Blue,” via its video. The electro-pop song features the lead vocals of the band’s Régine Chassagne and the video features solely her and not the rest of the band, as she walks the streets after a big Mardi Gras type parade. Cousin Club directed the video, which you can watch below. The band also did session with a youth choir for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge in which they performed album title track “Everything Now” and a cover of Lorde’s “Green Light.” Watch that below too.

They have previously shared a video for the album’s title track, “Everything Now,” announced a tour, and shared a funny fake cereal ad/teaser video for another song from the album, “Creature Comfort,” as well as a full on video for “Creature Comfort” and an annotated version of the “Creature Comfort” video. Then there was a video for another new song, “Signs of Life.”

Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter and Pulp’s Steve Mackey produced Everything Now with the band, with co-production by Markus Dravus. The album was recorded in three different countries: at Boombox Studios in New Orleans, Sonovox Studios in Montreal, and Gang Recording Studio in Paris. It will be released on CD, cassette, and heavyweight black vinyl LP, as well as digitally. The vinyl version “will feature 20 different artwork variants, each bearing the album title in one of 20 different languages.”

In January Arcade Fire released a brand new song, “I Give You Power,” that featured the guest vocals of soul legend and civil rights activist Mavis Staples. Its release the day before President Donald Trump’s inauguration was probably no accident, especially as all proceeds from the song are being donated to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). “I Give You Power” is not on the album. The band’s last full-length was 2013’s Reflektor.
