Arcade Fire’s Will Butler to Speak at University
Musician Previously Attended Northwestern University
Because being part one of the most talked about bands of the year isn’t enough, Arcade Fire’s Will Butler is set to speak at Northwestern University. The musician graduated from the University in 2005, and is returning to his alma mater November 2nd to speak about "about blending his music career with social activism.” It’s a topic Butler is well qualified to discuss—earlier this year the band pledged 1 million dollars to the Haiti recovery efforts.
