12'' Vinyls To Be Sold A Specific Record Shops
Sep 06, 2013 Arcade Fire
So far only a handful of details have been confirmed in regards to Arcade Fire‘s upcoming fourth LP. The first is that is that the new record is coming out Oct. 29. The second is that the band is scheduled to premiere the album’s first single “Reflektor,” (which may or may not be the title of the LP) next week on Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. in a music video by directed by Anton Corbijn.
The latest bit of certainty concerns the single itself, which will be made available as a vinyl 12’’ on Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. The band’s website has provided an extensive map detailing participating record stores that will have the single on hand. Grimey’s, from Nashville, has taken the extra step to show just what the new release will look like, posting the above image of the single’s artwork. According to Empire Records St Albans (via Arcade Fire Tube), the back cover of the 12’’ features a tracklist of 14 songs (likely hinting at the total number of songs on the finished album). However, only “Reflektor” and an instrumental version of the track are included on the actual vinyl.
