At the Drive In Announce 2017 Tour Dates
Band Just Released Their First New Song in 16 Years
Dec 09, 2016 At the Drive-In
Yesterday post-hardcore band At the Drive In shared, “Governed By Contagions,” their first new song in 16 years and now they have announced some 2017 tour dates. They go down next March in various North American cities. Check out the dates below, followed again by “Governed By Contagions.”
At the Drive In broke-up in 2001 after the release of 2000’s Relationship of Command. The former members went on to form Mars Volta and Sparta, but At the Drive In reformed in 2012 for some shows and reunited again earlier this year for a world tour (although guitarist Jim Ward is absent this time). “Governed By Contagions” is said to be the first taste of a forthcoming album produced by the band’s Omar Rodríguez-Lopez along with Rich Costey. You can download the track for free here.
