We're pretty avid Beach House fans here at UTR Towers, so when they hooked up with the indie juggernaut Sub Pop earlier this year, our ears perked up like the ice cream man was coming 'round the bend. Now we have more salivation-worthy news: the dream-pop duo's third album is coming January 26, 2010 on CD/LP.

Beach House's Sub Pop debut is entitled Teen Dream and was recorded in a converted church according to a post on Sub Pop and the blog Ragged Words. Pictures of the upstate New York church, called Dreamland, can be found on the pair's MySpace page. (You can view some of those above/below.) The New York band recorded the dreamy ten-track suite with the NYC producer/engineer Chris Coady (who has manned the boards for TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Grizzly Bear, Blonde Redhead, and many others).

According to Sub Pop, the album's been an "all-consuming obsession for Beach House the past 9-12 months." (Sounds like a teen dream to me.) You'll also probably recognize the leadoff cut as last year's single "Used to Be." All the songs below will be packaged with a svelte companion DVD featuring a clip for each track on the release, each by a different director.

Beach House are touring with Grizzly Bear right now. (via P4K)
