After releasing two albums for Carpark Records, Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand, aka Beach House, have announced their third album will be released on Sub Pop in early 2010.

For their newest work, the dream pop duo decamped to upstate New York, writing and recording in a converted church. They also headed to Dreamland Studios in Woodstock, where they worked with producer Chris Coady.

While there’s still not a firm release date, Beach House will be previewing material while on tour with Grizzly Bear.
