Beck Wants You!...To Tell Him What Songs to Release

Record Club Takes Fan Suggestions

Beck’s Record Club—where he gathers musician friends to cover an album in a day, is rolling along. This time, he’s staging a special election (like the one you should have voted on earlier this week) and asking for help deciding what songs from previous sessions to release. The winning tracks will comprise The Record Club’s first ever official album.

Fans are encouraged to the Record Club site and vote for the price of an e-mail. Picks include takes from their Leonard Cohen, INXS, and Yanni sessions. Participants in the sessions include, St. Vincent, Thurston Moore, MGMT, and Wilco among others.
