Belle and Sebastian
Belle and Sebastian have announced on their website that they are cancelling all their November tour dates due to health issues with frontman Stuart Murdoch. We hope it’s nothing serious and wish him a full recovery. Here’s the band’s full statement:
“Belle and Sebastian regret to announce the cancellation of their upcoming tour of mainland Europe. This is due to lead singer Stuart Murdoch’s current health.
It is a huge disappointment for us not to make the concerts, and the decision was not taken easily.
Stuart wants nothing else but to be able to play and sing for you, but has to get better first.
We hope you understand.
Love and respect, as always
Belle and Sebastian”
The Scottish band’s most recent album, Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance, was released back in January on Matador. Below is the video for “Perfect Couples.”
