California duo Best Coast have announced the release of a new “mini-album” titled Fade Away. The forthcoming collection of songs, featuring the pair’s Record Store Day singles “Fear of My Identity” and “Who Have I Become,” will see release on Oct. 22 on frontwoman Bethany Cosentino’s new label, Jewel City.

In a press release Cosentino addressed the trajectory of the band saying, “Everything in this band has worked out so organically that sometimes it scares me that something bad is going to happen. I don’t even understand why this is happening. I made some songs, I put them up on the internet, and here I am now. I feel like the luckiest person in the world. If I wasn’t doing this, I don’t know what I would be doing.”
