Best Coast, after a string of well-received single releases on sundry labels, and an eminently entertaining Twitter (“LAKERS WON BITCH” was the most recent update) courtesy of frontwoman Bethany Cosentino (Pocohaunted), have now announced the July 27 release of their debut LP Crazy For You on Mexican Summer records. Recorded at a studio in the Echo Park area of LA, the 12 tracks on the album are all new (“romantic sandy gems,” according to the record’s press release), without any reprisals from their largely out of print 7-inches. For now, you can catch them playing in NYC, Chicago, and Raleigh this summer. We have those dates and the tracklisting below.
