Seventeen-year-old singer/songwriter/pop star Billie Eilish has shared a brand new song, “everything i wanted.” It’s the first new song since the release of her #1 debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, from earlier this year. That album spawned the #1 single “bad guy” (which is up to 629 million YouTube views as of this writing). “Everything i wanted” is quite a bit less playful and more introspective than “bad guy.” Listen to it below, followed by Eilish’s upcoming 2020 tour dates (which all sold out within an hour of going on sale).
“Everything i wanted” is out now via Darkroom/Interscope Records. It was co-written by Eilish and her regular collaborator and producer, her brother Finneas O’Connell (aka FINNEAS) and recorded partly in their home studio in Highland Park, CA, as well as on the road.
Eilish had this to say about “everything i wanted” in a press release: “This song is one my brother and I wrote about each other. No matter what happens, we always have been and will be there to make it better.”
