Björk Shares Bizarrely Beautiful Video for “Losss”
Utopia Out Now via One Little Indian
Björk has shared a video for "Losss," a track from her 2017 album Utopia. Digital artist Tobias Gremmler directed the bizarrely beautiful video, which features Björk's face taking on the characteristics of various creatures and insects. The video was made for her Cornucopia performance series. Watch it below, followed by her upcoming shows.
In the YouTube description for the video, Björk writes: "It is time to show you another song visualized by the overwhelmingly talented Tobias Gremmler.... No one captures digital sensuality like him, elegant and expressive.... This is made for the multiple screens of Cornucopia and we share it all here on one for your laptop screen.... We based the visuals on the conversations between our inner optimist and pessimist, when I recorded this I tried to sing in a deeper tone for one of them in the left speaker and a higher optimist in the right. And if you listen on headphones it will match the imagery."
Previously Björk shared Utopia's first single, "The Gate," as well as an enchanting video for the song, in which Björk appears to be involved in some sort of alien mating ritual. Then she shared the album's second single, "Blissing Me," as well as a video for the song. Plus there was a video for "Utopia," which featured Björk playing the flute in an alien fantasy land. Then she shared a video for "Arisen My Senses."
