Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke is releasing a new solo album, Fatherland, October 6 via BMG. Previously she shared “Yemaya,” “Streets Been Talkin’,” and “Grounds For Resentment” (which features Olly Alexander of Years & Years). Now he’s shared another song from the album, “Do U Right.” Check it out below.
Okereke has previously released two solo albums under his first name only (the last one being 2014’s Trick), so this is his first album going by his full name. Fatherland also features Corinne Bailey Rae on “Versions of Us.”
Bloc Party released a new album, HYMNS, in 2016 via Infectious Music/BMG/Vagrant.
