Blur Release Live Album of Hyde Park Performance
Parklive Available Digitally Now
Over the weekend as part of the closing celebration of London's Olympic Games, Blur gave a live performance in Hyde Park that may very well have been their last. With an incredibly quick turnaround the band has now offered up the show as a legitimate live album. Entitled Parklive, the record is available for purchase on iTunes today, with a CD edition going on sale next week on the group's website.
For those willing to wait a bit longer, Blur are also planning a deluxe five-disc edition scheduled for sometime in November, which will include a DVD of the show plus a bonus CD, Blur LIve at the 100 Club, taken from a performances recorded earlier this month.
