Bon Iver Announce Additional Summer Tour Dates

Band Set to Tour Eastern U.S. in Support of Sophomore Self-Titled Album, Due June 21

Bon Iver has confirmed additional dates for their 2011 Summer tour of the U.S., including a second date in NYC, at United Palace Theater. Their previously announced Celebrate Brooklyn! show at the borough's Prospect Park is now sold out.

Frontman Justin Vernon will be joined by an eight-piece band for the jaunt, including many of the musicians who contributed to the act's second album, the self-titled Bon Iver, due June 21 on Jagjaguwar. Members of the touring act will include frequent Bon Iver contributors Sean Carey (drums, piano), Mike Noyce (guitar) and Matt McCaughan (drums), as well as Rob Moose on violin and guitar (Antony and the Johnsons, The National), Mike Lewis on bass (Andrew Bird,), and a horn section including Reginald Pace, Colin Stetson (Tom Waits, Arcade Fire), and C.J. Camerieri (Rufus Wainwright, Sufjan Stevens). Merge artists The Rosebuds are set to open all dates, which we have below.
