Somewhere between all the performances and tributes to late artists such as Etta James and Whitney Houston, the Grammys still managed to hand out a few awards to the night's nominated artists. Indie fans were undoubtedly pleased when Bon Iver came away with two wins, including Best New Artist and Best Alternative Album for his excellent sophomore LP.

Singing queen Adele was the ceremony's biggest winner, taking home awards for Best Album (21), Song of the Year ("Rolling in the Deep", Record of the Year ("Rolling in the Deep", Best Pop Solo Performance ("Someone Like You"), Best Pop Vocal Album (21), and Best Short Form Music Video ("Rolling in the Deep").

Foo Fighters also won big with five Grammys, including Best Rock Album (Wasting Light), Best Rock Song ("Walk"), Best Rock Performance ("Walk"), Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance ("White Limo"), and Best Long Form Music Video (Back and Forth). Short on acceptance speeches, the majority of the night was of course devoted to performances, including sets by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Beach Boys alongside Maroon 5 and Foster the People, Coldplay and Rihanna, and numerous others. You can check out videos of some of the performances below, and read the complete list of winners at the Grammy's website right here.
