Bright Eyes to Release Vinyl and CD Box Set, “The Studio Albums 2000-2011”

Bright Eyes (Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis, and Nathaniel Walcott) have announced a new box set, The Studio Albums 2000-2011, which is due out September 16 via Saddle Creek. It will be released on both vinyl and CD and includes six albums: remastered versions of Fevers and Mirrors (2000), LIFTED or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground (2002), I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning (2005), Digital Ash in a Digital Urn (2005), and Cassadaga (2007), and a regular version of The People's Key (2011).

Engineer Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering remastered the albums. A press release describes the vinyl box set as such: "The Vinyl Box Set features six albums on 10 LPs pressed at RTI and housed in tip-on jackets, including digital downloads of each album. Vinyl Box Set exclusives include colored vinyl, twelve 8x10 photo prints by Butch Hogan, and an essay by Nathaniel Krenkel. The vinyl box set is limited to 5,000 copies and includes all 10 LPs housed in a foil stamped linen-wrapped box."

The CD box set is limited to 1,000 copies and "will include six CDs housed in a foil stamped linen coated board slip case."

The remastered albums will also be available individually on CD and black Vinyl in November. Fevers and Mirrors and LIFTED or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground will be out Nov 4th. November 11th will see the individual releases of I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning, Digital Ash in a Digital Urn, and Cassadaga.
