Camera Obscura have announced that they have been forced to cancel their initial set of tour dates in support of their forthcoming new album Desire Lines. According to the band a “family illness” is the reason for putting the tour on hold.

Camera Obscura was scheduled to make an appearance at this year’s SXSW Festival (including a headlining showcase for Under the Radar) and in New York at Le Poisson Rouge. The band’s scheduled tour dates starting in May will continue as planned.

Desire Lines comes out June 4 on 4AD.
