Charlotte Gainsbourg Makes Her U.S. TV Debut on Letterman
Also: Daily Candy Rehearsal Video
Last weekend, heartbreaker extraordinaire Charlotte Gainsbourg played her first ever live concerts in NYC and Philadelphia. Her sophomore LP, IRM, is produced by Beck and drops tomorrow (January 26th).
The daughter of the infamous chanson songwriter Serge Gainsbourg also stopped by The Late Show with David Letterman to blaze through IRM's rockier track, "Trick Pony," proving once again that she's not one. (Plus, it's not every day you get to watch a lycanthrope play the hell out of a keyboard.) Check out the video below:
As an added bonus we've also got the an exclusive rehearsal video from Daily Candy. (Look, I see Beck!) Check that out here. IRM can be streamed at NPR Music now and Gainsbourg's next scheduled appearence in the States is Coachella.

I understand the value of a polite introduction, but “Are you Charlotte?” Really Dave?

David Letterman is such a funny man. I’m happy that Charlotte Gainsborough got the opportunity to perform on the Letterman show. That’s a pretty big deal for her. Charlotte did a really great job. Thank you for sharing the video.
