Sooner or later, every musician has to try his or her hand at Stairway to Heaven. Now a bunch of artists—including M.Ward, Chris Walla, and Laura Veirs—are trying their hands at other covers in new compilation From the Land of and Snow: Songs of Led Zeppelin.

Better yet, a presentage of sales will go to support First Octave, an organization dedicated to inspiring and educating young musicians—‘cause goodness knows “Stairway” aint gonna play itself.
