Coachella has announced its 2011 lineup. The three-day festival will take place in the California desert town of Indio April 15, 16, and 17. Kings of Leon headline Friday, Arcade Fire are the headliners on Saturday, and Sunday features the dual headliners of Kanye West and The Strokes.

We were kind of hoping that a reformed Pulp would’ve been booked, but Britpop fans will at least get to see Suede (billed as The London Suede here), who haven’t performed in America in many years. Other classic artists include Duran Duran and Wire.

Sunday’s bill is lightest in bands we’re excited to see, but every day is guaranteed to keep fans (and music journalists) running between stages to catch as many artists as they can.

Under the Radar-friendly artists include: Animal Collective, Arcade Fire, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Best Coast, The Black Keys, Bright Eyes, Broken Social Scene, Cee Lo Green, Chromeo, Cold Cave, Cold War Kids, Crystal Castles, CSS, Cults, Cut Copy, Delorean, Delta Sprirt, The Drums, Duran Duran, Elbow, Empire of the Sun, Foals, Foster the People, Gayngs, Glasser, PJ Harvey, HEALTH, Here We Go Magic, Hurts, Interpol, Jenny and Johnny, The Joy Formidable, The Kills, Klaxons, The Love Language, Menomena, The Morning Benders, Mumford & Sons, The National, The New Pornographers, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Phantogram, Phosphorescent, The Radio Dept., Robyn, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Sleigh Bells, The Strokes, Suede (aka: The London Suede), The Swell Season, The Tallest Man on Earth, Tame Impala, Titus Andronicus, Trentemoller, Twin Shadow, Two Door Cinema Club, Warpaint, Wire, and YACHT.
