Coldplay Announce “Final” Album, “A Head Full of Stars”
Recording Seventh Album
Just months after releasing their latest LP Ghost Stories, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has revealed that the band is already back in the studio working on the group's seventh record. According to Martin however, this forthcoming album, tentatively titled A Head Full of Stars, will likely be the band's last. Speaking on BBC Radio 1 with host Zane Lowe, Martin says "It’s our seventh thing and the way we look at it it’s like the last Harry Potter book. That’s not to say there won’t be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something ... I have to think of it as the final thing we’re doing, otherwise we wouldn’t put everything into it.”
