Coldplay Announce New Double Album via Postcards Sent to Fans
Everyday Life Due Out November 22

Coldplay have seemingly announced a new album entitled Everyday Life via some postcards sent to fans. It is an experimental double album, with one side titled “Sunrise” and the other “Sunset” and it’s due out November 22. Below are some social media posts from fans and the band about the postcards and the album, as well as the text from the postcard, all via Stereogum. This is all after cryptic posters promoting the album showed up in various cities around the world.
Here’s what the postcards said:
“dear friends,
my typing isn’t very good, i’m sorry
i and we hope wherever you are you’re ok
for the last 100 years or thereabouts we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life
in the classifieds you might write “double album for sale, one very careful owner”
one half is called “sunrise,” the other “sunset”
it comes out 22 november
it is sort of how we feel about things
we send much love to you from hibernation
chris, jonny, guy and Will Champion esq”
Coldplay released their last album, their seventh, A Head Full of Dreams, back in December 2015 via Parlophone/Atlantic and released a follow-up EP, Kaleidoscope EP, in July 2017, also via Parlophone/Atlantic.
LOVE this type of real, old-fashioned post! Thanks @coldplay, new album due out 22 November! ???????????? #EverydayLife #Music pic.twitter.com/JDZeJQQzNM
