The Guardian reports that pioneering minimalist composer Steve Reich will be premiere a new work at London's Southbank Centre based on two Radiohead songs. Performed by 13 musicians from the London Sinfonietta on March 5, 2013, the piece, entitled "Radiohead Rewrite" draws from Kid A's "Everything in its Right Right" and In Rainbows' "Jigsaw Falling Into Place." The project is said to have been inspired after Reich met the band in Poland and watched Jonny Greenwood cover one of his compositions "Electric Counterpoint." London's Southbank Centre festival is slated to to include over a 100 concerts, films, and panel discussions.
