Conan O'Brien finally has a home!

"In three months I've gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I'm headed to basic cable," O'Brien said in a Twitter post. "My plan is working perfectly."

After months of speculation following O'Brien's departure from NBC's Tonight Show, he will host a new late-night talk show on TBS, expected to debut in November. The currently untitled show is expected to air Monday through Thursday at 11 PM, with the George Lopez show, Lopez Tonight, moving to midnight.

O'Brien later Tweeted this: "The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I'll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show."

O'Brien and his team were trying to negotiate a deal with Fox, however, it did not follow through because of structural issues. Fox issued this statement: "Conan is a great talent and we wish him every success."

The TBS deal happened fairly quickly, literally within two days. O'Brien became highly interested in the deal after George Lopez personally called him to ask him to consider joining TBS. "I can't think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as my lead-in," Lopez said in a statement. "It's the beginning of a new era in late-night comedy."

TBS, a division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. is television's top-rated comedy network. Having Conan host his own show solidifies this. "Conan has been the comedic voice for a generation. TBS already has a huge audience of young comedy lovers, and Conan's show will give these fans even more reasons to watch our network," said Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks in a statement.

The best part of this? O'Brien does not have to move his family around again. The show will be based in Los Angeles. O'Brien's Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour starts tonight in Eugene, OR.
