Gorillaz
Relentlessly creative Damon Albarn—who recently announced the formation of a new band with Flea and Tony Allen—is hard at work on a Gorillaz album. Recording while still touring heavily behind Plastic Beach, the musician is relying on his iPad to capture ideas. “I hope I’ll be making the first record on an iPad,” Albarn told NME. “I fell in love with my iPad as soon as I got it, so I’ve made a completely different kind of record.” Albarn goes on to mention he hopes to have the resulting album out before Christmas.
