Dan Deacon Unveils Insane Poster Contest
ID All the Cartoon Characters For Cool Prizes!
Wham City maven/Day-Glo electro mastermind Dan Deacon is heading back out on the road next week with Baltirmore BFFs Nuclear Power Pants. And yes, they'll be traveling in again in that good-for-the-environment veggie oil bus. (Fans that give up some spare veggie oil get in free to the shows again). The complete tour dates are listed below. To celebrate the fall trek, Post Typography designed a gonzo new poster for Deacon. Fans who want to win glorious prizes must ID all of the 243 cartoon characters drawn within the poster.
If that sounds intense (which it does) Deacon and PT gave some hints on a characters such as: "John Rambo," "Tinkerbell," "Really Bad Drawing of Philip Glass," "Super-Obsessed-Too-Big-Glasses-Wearing-Super-Dan-Fan" and "Rat in a Top Hat."
( I also spy with my little eye: a Snork, Predator, Chewbacca, a Wild Thing, the Michelin Man and King Friday XIII from Mister Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Man, I should start filling in this thing!) A hi-res version of the poster is here, the answer form is here, and a numbered diagram of the poster is here. Good luck to everyone invloved. The winner truly deserves it.
Be the first person to e-mail in all the correctly indentified characters to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), to get four sweet prizes:
